2020 Graduate Spotlight: Wesley Morgan

The College Fund of Pinellas County, Inc. would like to highlight our scholarship recipients who are doing amazing things in the classroom, on their campuses, and in the community!
Next up in our student spotlight... Meet Wesley Morgan!

Wesley is a Spring 2020 graduate of the University of Florida He earned a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. During his time in undergrad he was involved with several organizations including the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and Tau Beta Pi, an academic fraternity for the top 10% of engineering students. When he wasn’t busy with organizations, he was was working on research!

"This scholarship helped allow me to focus on my studies and allow me to get involved in research instead of worrying about working at a part time job,” he said.

In fact, he published a paper on his research in a well-regarded journal within his field! Now, he’s continuing his education at UF by pursuing a Masters degree in Management.

Wesley says: "I am extremely thankful for the luncheons that were held by the college fund because of the opportunity to meet both other recipients and members of the college fund. It was an awesome chance to get to hear about other students experiences and get/give some advice both from and to other students."

We wish you continued success in your educational endeavors Wesley!
